Sheffield internet service provider Idaq Networks has undergone a complete brand refresh and today launched their new look website.

Idaq Networks own and operate a completely independent network which provides ultra-fast, business grade internet connectivity throughout Sheffield and most parts of Rotherham. The service was created to meet the needs of businesses and operates via carrier grade, state-of-the-art radio equipment. Idaq Networks are unlike traditional ISPs as their Icnos service is super reliable and they offer low installation charges, unlimited data transfer, and quick installation.

As the company has evolved, they outgrew their website and their brand needed to be refined to allow them to thrive in a competitive market. Earlier this year, the company decided to overhaul their look to create a stronger brand identity that reflected their offering of ultra-fast reliable internet access for landlords and businesses and increase their online presence.

Barnsley-based marketing communications agency Script were approached and worked on refreshing everything including the branding, social media, website design and copy, promotional materials, and marketing strategy to ensure the fresh new look made an impact.

As part of the partnership with Script, the new website has been launched to increase and strengthen brand presence and raise the company profile through new branding, targeted marketing, and refreshed use of social media. The new animated website explains how wireless internet works simply, and features a brand new blog to go with the new look. The new marketing strategy will focus on customer retention and reaching out to new potential clients.

Idaq Networks is a sister company to Idaq, which was formed in 2003 and provides domain names, web hosting, reseller hosting, virtual servers, and server backup.

Script offer social media management, public relations, web design, re-design coding and hosting, graphic design, illustration, animation, video production, eshots, branding, photography, copywriting, and strategic marketing planning.

Development Director for Idaq Networks Mike Hague said: “We're a relatively new company operating on a local level in a highly competitive marketplace. Over the last couple of years we’ve grown our network and our partner and customer base without any strategic marketing in place. We have ambitious plans; so we decided to take things to the next level and put some robust marketing in place to support that growth. The new revamped logos and website are just the start of some really exciting new things to come, with the help of Script.”

Script Assistant Studio Manager Laura Blackburn said: “I created the logo based on a mast that delivers Idaq Networks' signals and wanted to create something that would work when animated. For the website, I wanted it to feel modern and up-to-date with the latest trends, whilst sticking with the original colours to ensure the brand was still recognisable.”
