Invitation to the Dearne Valley College Business Conference

Dearne Valley College would like to invite you to their free Business Conference on 21st June at the Manvers campus. The event, which is aimed at South Yorkshire businesses, will include keynote speakers covering important issues including social media and business crime. 

Social media expert, Svend Elkjaer will be delivering a talk regarding the latest social media tools and techniques for small to medium businesses and the Chief Executive of People United Against Crime (PUAC), David Ransom, will provide information about reducing the threats of crime to small and medium sized businesses, as well as highlighting how to make the most of the free services available from the Business Crime Reduction Centre (BCRC).

Welcome to Dearne Valley College – 11.30am

Lunch – 1pm 
Svend Elkjaer - Social Media Tools for Small to Medium Businesses – 2pm
Funding Information – 2.30pm
Networking and Close – 2.45pm onwards 

The event is anticipated to close at around 3.30pm

The College's Business Development team will be on hand to discuss opportunities such as business training and apprenticeships, and a free buffet lunch will be served for all attendees.
