How can we transform our Region in to the UK Silicon Valley of Manufacturing?

This free event allows you to work in small groups with a selection of regional experts and use Crowd Wise, a highly interactive tool nef developed to create consensus. Just a few of the questions you may ask to tackle this issue could include:
  • How can we revitalise Sheffield’s manufacturing base to give us a financial kickstart?
  • What high tech skills do we need to re-launch our manufacturing base? 
  • How can we improve and embrace technological manufacturing?  
  • What can engineers do to increase the profitability of our manufacturing base?
  • Will technology stimulate manufacturing and boost our economy?
  • How can we inspire young people to work in manufacturing with us?
