WRAP Recycling Project

posted 31 Aug 2012, 03:02 by RiDO Rotherham   [ updated 31 Aug 2012, 03:12 ]
Rotherham based S2S Electronics invite you and your employees to participate in a FREE trial to encourage the re-use and recycling of unwanted electrical items from households.

The trial aims to:
  • Encourage consumers to de-clutter their homes of unwanted electrical items
  • Provide a convenient drop-off point at their place of work
  • Help consumers understand why electricals should be re-used or recycled
  • Benefit someone else through donating unwanted electricals to charity
  • Reduce electrical waste going to landfill

How it will work, S2S Electronics will:
  • Provide you with storage solutions to ensure that household electricals are  stored separately from business WEEE
  • Collect for free as and when required
  • Give you all the marketing material you need to get your employees involved. This will include a communication email, flyers, posters, and pull-up banners.

Once S2S Electronics collect the items, they will be inspected back at their depot. Where possible, they will repair items and donate them to a local charity for resale. The items that cannot be repaired will be recycled.

If you would like to take part or for more information, please get in touchwith S2S Electronics on 01709 763857 / 01709 763869.

This trial is one of many being funded by WRAP. For further information on what WRAP do, please visit their website:
