More than 70 new jobs have now been created at the ONYX retail park, located at Wath-Upon-Dearne between Barnsley and Rotherham.

The scheme comprises 17,500 sq ft of retail space and is based at the former Manvers colliery. The 2.5 acre development resides within a larger 285 acre Waterfront regeneration development, which is currently delivering 1,100 new homes as well as complementary retail and leisure users.

ONYX is being developed by Onward Holdings who are bringing forward the second phase of the site, that could comprise a further 10,000 sq ft of space, because of anticipated demand.
