Business Minister Hails AMP as "Exciting"

The Minister for Business and Regulatory Reform Ian Lucas MP dropped into the AMP for a whistle-stop tour of CTi and TWI’s Yorkshire Technology Centre.

Commenting on his visit, the Minister said: “What is happening here is very exciting. There are some very committed and innovative companies with world-beating ideas and technologies which British industry needs to better use to compete more effectively.

“Advanced manufacturing is the future. We need to have it and we’ve got to go for it. Britain has the high skills, commitment and knowledge to build a strong manufacturing future. The Advanced Manufacturing Park is a successful template for industry and university collaboration, so I am delighted to be here in Rotherham to see it working.”
